Hygge apartment design project

The basis of the hygge style is white, which is gently diluted with warm beige tones, neutral cold shades, and sometimes contrasts are used. You can carefully add a couple of bright accents. For example, a crimson ottoman, yellow pillows, a poster in green tones.

The main idea of the hygge style is the idea of luring the sun into the living space, as on the Scandinavian Peninsula the day is short, there is little sun and long winters. Mostly natural materials, different textures of wood are used.

Light furniture, open shelving, plants in pots on the windowsills and hanging from the ceilings, pillows and posters with a national pattern depicting deer or snowflakes, ceramic and wooden utensils, fur accessories, patchwork runners – all this creates coziness in the hygge style.
